Nutcracker Fun Day
Over the holidays we held our first Nutcracker Fun Day for children and it was a great success. What a lot of fun we had dancing, making crafts, playing games and listening to the story of The Nutcracker. Thank you to all who attended. Your support is very much appreciated and I hope your children all had a wonderful time. If you couldn't make it this time don't worry as there will be plenty of other opportunities!
Adult Beginner Ballet
Did you study ballet as a child and miss it? Have you never tried ballet but would like to? Would you like to increase your strength, coordination, flexibility, speed, balance, endurance and overall fitness? Would you enjoy exercising and dancing to beautiful music in a relaxed and fun environment? If yes, then adult ballet is for you! Susyballet adult classes are tailored to suit all abilities. Ballet is fabulous exercise for all to enjoy and benefit from!
Adult ballet classes are currently enjoying great popularity in the UK and elsewhere thanks to the internet, social media platforms and TV programmes.
Our adult ballet classes incorporate ballet body conditioning, warm up, barre work, centre practice and cool down. No special ballet clothing is required other than ballet shoes. Socks are fine for the trial taster class. Just wear comfortable clothes that you can move freely in such as leggings and a T shirt.
We currently have a group class on a Wednesday evening in Englefield Green, Surrey and private one to one classes are available to book on a Saturday lunch time in Wraysbury. If you are interested please do get in touch. Other classes may be added if there is enough interest!
Uniform
Thank you to everyone for making so much effort to bring your children to class looking so beautifully presented. I have been particularly impressed by the attempts at ballet buns too! Well done everyone. The children look gorgeous.
My request for 2020 is to please try and purchase the correct Susyballet uniform. This is required from Pre Primary upwards and can be purchased from Dancia in Datchet (open Thursday through to Saturday each week). They have our uniform list on file and can help you. For more information our uniform list is provided on our website. I do understand that uniform is expensive on top of fees and registration but it has been chosen carefully and designed to last a couple of grades so if you purchase it big enough, then it should hopefully last a while! I am a mum myself and I am reasonable however, so any problems please get in touch. Proper fitting ballet shoes are the most important requirement and during these cold winter days, children can ofcourse wear ballet tights and wrapover ballet cardigans if they are cold.

Spring Term 2020
I'm really excited to discover
all the wonderful things this new year brings and I can't wait to see you all and hear your news.
Classes recommence on Wednesday 8th January and end on Saturday 28th March. Half term is the week beginning 17th February.
You do not need to do anything to sign up for the new term if you have already registered. Invoices have now been sent out to all existing students (other than adult students) via email. Any problems or if you did not receive one, then please do let me know. Payment for the new term is due on or before the first class.
