Happy Half Term!

What a busy & happy start to the new Spring Term we have had. So lovely to have our students back after the Christmas break & happy to welcome lots of new faces too. We have some new classes which is very exciting: Older adults ballet on a Wednesday morning in Windsor, beginner adult pilates on a Wednesday evening in Englefield Green& a new Saturday afternoon nursery ballet class also in Englefield Green. We are also about to launch an invite only Strength, Technique & Performance class for our dedicated older students who would benefit from further training to enhance their dance technique, stamina, flexibility, strength & performance skills.

We have started to explore some performance & competitive opportunities too for the first time as a school and so far this term, we have had two lovely students take part in a performance at Bishopsgate's Exhibition of the Arts show & we had two students attend the RAD South East Awards Surrey & Kent heat & we are over the moon to announce we have made it through to the finals at the RAD HQ in London in May.

Miss Amy had a wonderful time performing in panto in Swindon over Christmas & is now back teaching our after school Tap & Modern students at Bishopsgate, Miss Rosie has been very busy teaching not only after school ballet clubs but also our Intermediate Foundation students & curriculum dance at Bishopsgate. We have had amazing ballet assistant support also from lovely Miss Alex with our large Reception/Year 1 Ballet club at school. We are SO lucky to have the wonderful support & hard work of these fantastic teachers.

Miss Rosie, Miss Amy, Miss Alex & I all wish you a very happy half term break. Half term starts on Sunday 15th Feb and ends on Sunday 22nd February. Hopefully we will get a few rain free days next week !!
